Dr. W. Ashley Hood

Dr. Hood is currently in a solo OB/GYN practice in Jackson, Mississippi. He currently holds two board certifications from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Amercian Board of Osteopathic Obstetrics and Gynecology. He received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences – College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his internship and residency in OB/GYN at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Dr. Hood has been extremely involved in the osteopathic profession. As a student and a resident, he served on the American Osteopathic Association’s Board of Trustees. He currently serves on the AOA’s Council on CME, Women’s Health Issues, and New Physician’s in Practice.

He is currently serving on the Mississippi Osteopathic Medical Association’s Board of Directors, and is currently the President-Elect.

He recently began a new position as Chair of OB/GYN, at William Carey University – College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, MS.

He also serves on many hospital committees at River Oaks Hospital in Jackson, MS.

He has spoken for various organizations on issues of women’s health.

Datche Walker, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

Datche graduated from the University of MS Medical Center in May of 2013 and became board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner in June of 2013. She practiced as a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery for 10 years prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. She is dedicated to helping women achieve their best health throughout the stages of life. Datche is happily married to her husband, Blake Walker, and they have two children, Ava Grace and Westin. She enjoys spending time with her family and loves the chance to read a good book.

Brittany Triplett

Office Administrator

Brittany attended Hinds Community College where she earned skills in business and marketing. She joined Dr. Hood’s office in March 2009.

Connie Frazier, RN

Connie received an Associates Degree in Applied Science/ADN from Hinds Community College. She is a registered nurse and worked at River Oaks Hospital in Labor and Delivery before joining Dr. Hood's office in 2012.


Amy Kennedy, RDMS

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Amy has been a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for 22 years. She received her degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She joined Dr. Hood’s office in 2008.
